Mrs. Michelle Frabotta is the 2010-2011 Teacher of the Year for Discovery Academy! Mrs. Frabotta is the Team Leader for the 8th Grade Aviator’s Team and Language Arts Teacher.
Mrs. Pattie Cliett is the 2010-2011 SPARK for Discovery Academy! Mrs. Cliett is the Front Office Receptionist and handles all incoming visitors and calls to DALA.
Mr. Shytle has spent more than 1000 hours volunteering for Polk County schools. At Discovery Academy he has played an integral role in our Parent Involvement initiative. Our parent involvement team and staff consistently comment that they do not know what they would do without Mr. Shytle’s help. Mr. Shytle says, “I have so much fun (volunteering) here with you all, it never seems like work!”
